Face Recognition missing in the new Windows 11 Photos app?

Microsoft Photos app not recognizing faces in photos
May 1, 2019 · Google Photos manages to find hundreds of faces and matches these to contacts etc. perfectly well across this same library. Previous versions of Microsoft Photos seemed to work well. Something has changed ! I have a similar problem. About 27624 photos and only a 4 groups of face tags (165 photos in these few groups).

I have no problem logging in and participating in online Microsoft activities when they are intentionally consented to by me. However sometimes it is misidentifying a person, e.g. it has tagged some of the pictures of my brother as a young boy as my nephew (his son) as they are alike, and also my dad as a little boy as my brother, etc.
