Jan 21, 2022 · Nothing. All previous Nintendo consoles have all their games "archived by the fans" and can be played off the HDD. (I've been doing that on my Wii since before the Wii U shipped). In fact I don't own a Switch and never will, but I can already play every Switch game in existence - even a Pokemon game that hasn't been officially released yet.
