According to Mossel Bay Municipality's update this morning, the fire has been contained on the northern flank (Aalwyndal); eastern flank (Island View) and the southern flank (N2) but is still active on the western flank – the farming area adjacent to Aalwyndal where a hard-to-reach kloof area was posing accessibility challenges.
